Medical Rehabilitation

Due to an illness or injury, it may difficult for a person to manage daily activities, such as getting around, washing or going to the toilet. Rehabilitation and assistive device services help maintain the person's ability to function; the client also receives help in terms of managing independently in daily activities. 

Medical rehabilitation includes the following services

• Assistive device services
• Consultations with a medical specialist in physiatry
• Physical therapy
• Speech therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Rehabilitation and consultative services for veterans
