Welfare Clinics

Maternity Clinics provide services to care for the health and welfare of the future baby and the expectant family.

Child Welfare Clinics  monitor and support children's physical, mental, social and emotional development. Child Welfare Clinics also provide support in parenting. 

Contraception Clinic provides birth-control services to under 25-years-old Turku citizens. The doctors, nurses and social workers can also refer over 25-years-old clients with problems in contraception. The Contraception Clinic also takes care of the six-week postpartum  delivery checkup when future contraception method is chosen to be copper or hormonal coil or contraceptive implant. Women of all ages who apply for termination of pregnancy are clients of the Contraception Clinic. 

Special Clinic for Adults services are targeted at young and adult, mentally disabled persons. The Clinic provides psychological and social evaluations and basic health checkups. 

Child and Family Guidance Clinic helpsto identify and take care of the problems of children, adolescents and their families. The families are supported by professional help from a child psychiatrist, a psychologist and a social worker.
