Studying and evaluation

Completion of courses

In order to be able to participate in the courses and be assessed, the student must register according to the set guidelines. The way in which the course is implemented is agreed upon at the beginning of each course. If the course includes an examination, it is carried out on a set date, usually at the end of the course.

Evaluation

Studies at Turku University of Applied Sciences are evaluated on the basis of oral and written examinations, exercises, and other performances. Accepted studies are graded on a scale of excellent (5), good (4-3), and satisfactory (2-1), or as passed or failed.

Turku University of Applied Sciences has a record of credits where the credits are registered.

Certificate and transcript of records

After a student of Open University of Applied Sciences has completed a course, he/she will receive a written document of the course. Students who have studied in the separately arranged courses, will receive a certificate automatically. Students, who have studied courses together with degree students, will receive a transcript of records. Students who have studied courses together with degree students can ask the transcript of records from the following persons:
