  • Information sources of a specialist
  • Databases as sources of information
  • Finnish and foreign electronic resources
  • Rules and regulation in using the library and the information sources
Tyttöjä tietokoneella

The objective of the training is that after the training the student is able to

  • recognize the most important information resources of her or his field of study (eg library catalogues, databases and electronic journals)
  • find information effectively and systematically from different information sources and
  • evaluate information and its sources critically.

The skills are a part of information literacy needed throughout your lifetime.
