Degree Programme in International Business

The Degree Programme in International Business is a lively multicultural community of students and staff of more than 30 different nationalities. We enjoy developing knowledge together throughout interactive lectures, analyzing of case studies, challenging projects linked with business life and ongoing interactions between staff, students and organizations in Southwest Finland. Our aim is to provide to students a joyful and consciousness atmosphere where they can develop business knowledge and expertise in an area they are passionate about.

The curriculum structure provides students with a wide range of opportunities to develop competences and skills in different areas of business such as marketing, supply chain management, entrepreneurship and management. An important part of the studies will be completed abroad through student exchange (up to one year) at one of our partner universities. TUAS has a wide network of partner universities around the world, a majority in Europe and in addition to that, partners also in Asia, Africa, as well as in North and Latin America.

Double degree agreements with our strategic partner give students the possibility to obtain two different degrees: the TUAS degree and the degree of our partner university.

 Practical training is a significant part of the studies which allow students to develop their hands-on work experience and their professional network. Students are encouraged to seek practical training abroad to enrich their learning experiences.

Our study environment has leaded our alumni students to pursue challenging careers in various business positions, for example as Key Account Manager, Marketing Planner, Sales Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist, Product Manager, Purchaser, Executive Assistant, Project Manager, Consultant, or Entrepreneur. A majority of our students are employed in a field related to international business before the end of their studies.
