Life Sciences and Business

The learning environment at the Life Sciences and Business faculty is shaped by internationally oriented study programmes which combine life sciences, business and ICT. The objective of our faculty is to educate engineers and bachelors/masters of business administration for the needs of local companies, industry and R&D activities. Our location in the middle of Turku Science Park provides excellent possibilities for cooperation with BioTurku and ICT clusters as well as other enterprises and organisations.

Interdisciplinary collaboration characterises the faculty’s academic and administrative organisation. We believe that this equips students and staff with qualifications, skills and knowledge that contribute to their personal and professional growth. Increasing student mobility and developing international study programmes/modules are our central internationalisation initiatives, as they will enrich our faculty with academic, social and cultural diversity.
