The first session of Four Steps to Your Dream Career is organised on the 8th of October in the ICT-City Building in auditorio Gamma at 17 to 19. The theme of this session is “Achieving your goals”. In this event you will get useful insights, tools and tips on how to get your dream job and achieve your career goals.

We are inviting two phenomenal speakers to this occasion:

Joonas Mikkilä, Head of Digital and Educational Affairs at The Federation of Finnish Enterprises. Joonas is an experienced NGO and advocacy professional currently pursuing a more entrepreneurial and future-proof Finland with a specific focus on digital and educational affairs and public policies.

Rasmus Basilier, Community Manager at Boost Turku. Rasmus is an entrepreneur, actor, producer and a walking idé generator. On this occasion Rasmus will focus on presentation skills and how you can become a better speaker and how to build a memorable presentation.

What are the four steps?

Four Steps to Your Dream Career is a new After Study concept with 4 events. The events are organized in different locations on the Turku campus area: ICT-City, Medisiina D building, Kerttuli Upper Secondary School and at Kåren. Come and enjoy inspiring speeches, useful workshops and learn how to take the crucial steps to reach your dream career. The events cover themes such as personal branding, dream jobs, presentation skills, career choices, personal economy, digital safety and stress and time management. The sessions are meant for students from upper secondary school to universities and universities of applied sciences, but everybody is warmly welcomed! The events are free of charge and there will be some refreshments served on each occasion. The Four Steps to Your Dream Career is organized in collaboration with Study in Turku.
