Turku University of Applied Sciences had 2167 study places available in different fields. This search included 51 Bachelor’s degree programmes and 23 Master’s degree programmes.
The highest numbers of applicants from the programmes leading to a bachelor’s degree were in business administration, social services and physiotherapy.
The most attractive programmes were the online studies in social services and animation (Bachelor of Culture and Arts), with 9 applicants per place. Among Master degree programmes, the most popular was Management and Leadership in Health Care.
The majority of student selections for Bachelor degree studies are made by certificate-based selection for applicants with matriculation examination or initial vocational qualification, or by UAS Exam. The majority of student selections for Master’s degree programmes are made by certificate-based selection based on Bachelor’s degree or a selection test.
Studies at the culture field have a pre-assessment and a separate selection test, which must be returned at the time of application. An exception to this is media studies, where students are selected on the basis of UAS exam and an aptitude test. As a new feature, for some of our Bachelor’s degrees can be selected applicants in this spring’s joint call on the basis of the final results of the Taitaja2026 competition.
The results of certificate-based selection will be published for applicants by 27 May 2026 and the results of the other selections by 2 July 2026. New students will start their studies in August-September 2026.
