Assessment strongly influences students, teachers, and higher education institutions alike. It is pedagogically challenging to change teaching and learning without also changing assessment methods. Teachers grapple with implementing assessments for various learning objectives, large groups, lifelong learners, and in contexts with and without artificial intelligence. Peers’ examples and experiences are invaluable for teachers.
Save the date for Higher Education Teacher Day on October 3, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and come to hear and discuss the following questions, among others:
- What does the reality of assessment look like from teachers’ perspectives?
- What can I learn from my colleagues’ examples?
- What new opportunities are available for assessment?
The Higher Education Teacher Day event is organized in collaboration by Turku University of Applied Sciences, the University of Turku, and Åbo Akademi.
We hope that you will participate in the event in person. It is possible to participate in the parallel workshops of the B session remotely, but the entire program will not be streamed.
We reserve the right to make changes.
