Effective implementation of the physical activity and motor skills intervention for 3-6 -year old children with cancer (EMPOWER)

Duration of the project
Source of funding
Research Council of Finland
Total funding
432 241 €
Children with cancer face limited opportunities for physical activity, which negatively affects their age-appropriate motor development and overall activity levels. Previous physical activity intervention studies have struggled to engage both the child and their family effectively.
This study aims to identify the facilitators and barriers related to the implementation of such interventions.
Additionally, it explores the relationship between the intervention and improvements in motor skills and physical activity levels.
