The MAGICS infrastructure enables research and development in human-centered digitalization. The Turku UAS subproject focuses on developing metaverse technologies and interactive digital environments in collaboration with the national consortium. The project supports research, education, and innovation.

MAGICS – National Infrastructure for Human in the Digital World is a research infrastructure project funded by the Academy of Finland. The project aims to strengthen research on human–technology interaction and enable new applications in creative and industrial fields. The Turku UAS subproject focuses especially on the acquisition and deployment of new equipment environments, such as immersive XR systems, sensor technologies, robotics and Nokia RXRM technology.

The project supports the activities of the national MAGICS network and enables extensive collaboration between research, education, and industry. MAGICS provides a platform for developing and testing new solutions, and promotes the sharing of expertise and resources across the entire network.
