Stage – a project platform for performing arts and music

The Stage is a learning environment for performing arts and music, where students carry out independent student projects. The Stage is used to teach a variety of student projects. Reach out to our dance teacher, music pedagogy and theatre and performing arts (theatre, circus) students through the Stage.
A commission applied for through the Stage could be, for example:
- An open call for an event or occasion
- Workshop guidance
- Other project or job requiring artistic-pedagogical vision and skills

To whom? Businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs.
Price: Agree the fee directly with the student. The equipment and facilities at Turku University of Applied Sciences can be rented for the project, depending on availability.
Instructions for submitting a commission:
Prepare a brief job advertisement-style statement, indicating the date, tasks or desired output of the project and an estimate of the duration of the work: what, how, when and by when you hope to be contacted. Send the information to: nayttamo@turkuamk.fi
We will forward the message to our students and any interested parties will contact the client directly to arrange the work.
The client is responsible for the content of the project and the guidance of the student. The school staff will only guide students in the supervision of their learning, and offer assistance in the conclusion of any assignment contracts. If the project involves the use of filming, recording, photographic or editing equipment from the Arts Academy, a rental fee will be charged for the use of this equipment. Inquiries about equipment rental can be made at the Production Office (esa.pukero@turkuamk.fi).
How the service works
1
Offer a project. Write a brief job advertisement and submit it to the Stage by e-mail: nayttamo@turkuamk.fi
2
The offer will be forwarded to students. Students choose the projects that best support their studies.
3
Students will contact you by replying to your ad. You will agree on the implementation directly with the students.
4
The project can begin. The work will proceed as agreed. At the end of the project, the student reports to the teacher and receives credits for the project.
