The demand for multidisciplinary competences on radio, networking, computer science, IT and cloud technologies call for a common and shared innovation ecosystem platform. We have implemented several testbeds in Finland for testing the 5G mobile technologies, but a common ecosystem to foster 5G innovation is required.

The goals of the project are:
• To keep Finnish research at the cutting edge of mobile communications
• To set up a multisite 5G research and experimentation environment covering both research and experimentation of end-to-end 5G technologies.
• Support vertical projects to speed up development and research on top of a common platform
