Among other things, these questions are answered annually in the national career monitoring survey of universities of applied sciences. The survey, which will be sent to graduates in 2020, will run from October to November 2025.

This year, the target group of the Career Monitoring Survey includes all graduates of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 2020. The survey will be sent directly to alumni by email and will run from 8 October to 9 November.
The survey will be used to find out about alumni’s employment, skills acquired from their studies and satisfaction with their degree. Alumni who graduated five years ago are an excellent group to tell about the effectiveness of education. The responses provide valuable information about the world of work that can be used to develop training courses. The results are also used by the Ministry of Education and Culture to evaluate the university’s performance and have a direct impact on funding.
2024 results
In autumn 2024, the national career tracking survey of universities of applied sciences was targeted at graduates of polytechnics and universities of applied sciences in 2019. The survey was answered by 960 graduates of Turku University of Applied Sciences.
