I work on the performance, reliability and economics of solar photovoltaic systems in Nordic conditions. My expertise covers field measurement and monitoring of PV installations, validation of simulation models against measured data, and techno-economic assessment of investments and energy communities. I develop imaging-based methods for detecting faults in PV modules and their use on drone platforms for inspecting operating plants. I also assess the economic feasibility of agrivoltaic systems combining crop and energy production. I manage EU-funded research and development projects.
