The theme of the Higher Education Teacher Day 2026 seminar is “The teacher as a facilitator of learning.”

The teacher as a facilitator of learning does not merely transmit knowledge, but sparks in the student a desire to learn and grow. Inspiring learning is built on encounters, shared understanding, and a safe atmosphere where everyone can participate and challenge themselves. Meaningfulness arises from authentic situations, connections to working life, and the opportunity to reflect on one’s own learning.
