WHERE
Orientation Days for bachelor degree students and exchange students are designed to provide essential information, like providing you with your Turku UAS user ID and introducing campus resources, as well as help you make meaningful connections with peers and our staff.
Please note that this multi-day event is mandatory for international students, whether you’re here as an exchange student or pursuing a full Bachelor’s degree. If, due to an insurmountable obstacle, you are unable to be on campus during the orientation days, please contact the International Services with the details of your situation and we will send you further instructions.

International Degree Students’ General Orientation on 7 January 2026

International Degree Students’ faculty orientation on 9 January 2026
Mandatory in-person orientation to meet with your tutor teacher, and to understand how the faculties work here in Turku UAS. Make sure to ask a peer tutor if you are unsure where to go.

Exchange Students’ faculty orientation on 9 January 2026
In addition to the General Orientation Day on the 8th of January, we will organize mandatory Faculty Orientations for Exchange Students on Friday the 9th of January.
ICT, Engineering and Business common faculty orientation:
9 January at 9.30–12.30 at Matias EDU_3003 (EduCity)
Followed by orientations for specific study areas and meeting the teacher tutors:
- Energy and Environmental engineering: 13.00–14.00 Venue: TBC
- Mechanical Engineering: 13.00–14.00 venue: TBC
- Chemical Engineering: 13.00–14.00 venue: LEM NH A254 (Lemminkäisenkatu campus)
