The project will build and pilot a regional vitality cluster that will help companies better anticipate future needs and changes. The aim is to create a permanent model for a vitality cluster that supports the growth of companies’ RDI capabilities and innovation processes and promotes the availability of skilled labor.

The project will build and pilot a regional cluster of vitality, connecting businesses in the region and providing development services. The cluster will serve a wide range of businesses and key industries in the region, such as energy, food and technology. The aim is to create a sustainable model for a vitality cluster that will support the development of business RDI capabilities and innovation processes and promote the availability of a skilled workforce.

The aim of the project is to help companies better anticipate future needs and changes. The main target group for the project is companies of various sizes in the Vakka-Suomi region, particularly in the manufacturing, energy, and food industries. In addition to local companies, the development of the vitality cluster involves the economic departments of the region’s municipalities, chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs’ associations, Ukipolis Oy, educational institutions, universities, and research institutes.

The aim is to involve companies of various sizes in the cluster operating model that will be created as a result of the project. The measures will be implemented in three theme groups based on the specific characteristics of the region, in which companies can define their own needs and strengths and participate in small-scale joint pilots and experiments initiated by the company groups.
