Welcome to Turku UAS Master’s Degree Programme’s (Master School) Entrance Exam!

The entrance exam for Turku UAS Master’s degree programmes in business, health care and technology in Finnish and English is organised as online exam on 25 October 2022. The exam instructions and assignments are published on this page on 25 October 2022 at 9-11.00 a.m. Finnish time.

There is no pre-material for the entrance exam but the applicant will answer to the assignments related to the Master studies by using the material given in the exam. The language of the entrance exam (Finnish/English) is defined by the highest study programme option on the application form.

Those who are already accepted in the certificate-based selection are not required to take the entrance examination. Admission results in certificate-based selection are published before entrance examination in My Studyinfo -service.

Please note that the Finnish Immigration Service does not probably grant a residence permit for Turku UAS’ Master's degree programme studies, if there are only two contact lesson days per month. Residence permit is not granted at all to degree programmes conducted online. (There are two contact sessions monthly in the Master of Business Administration degree programmes in Business Management and Sales Management.) In case the residence permit is not granted, the student may apply for a travel visa for the contact lesson days. Read more on the Finnish Immigration Service's website.

Preparation for the exam

You need a reliable internet connection and a computer with an up-to-date internet browser and a text editor. It is recommended to take the exam in a quiet space.

Your highest Turku UAS Master’s degree programme is asked on the submission form. If you don’t remember the name of the degree programme, you can check it on your application form at My Studyinfo -service or in the confirmation email when you have submitted your application.

Instructions for the exam

Write the answers to the assignments first with a text editor and only transfer the answers to the e-form before submitting. The maximum number of characters for text is limited. You can check the appropriate number of characters using Word, for example, as instructed by Microsoft. By default, Word displays the word count in the bottom bar, and you can click it for more information, including the number of characters, or "Characters (with spaces)."

Answers are submitted by copying them to an e-form that indicates too many characters. In this case, you will need to edit the answer to a suitable length before saving the form.

Further instructions and assignments for the entrance exam are published below on this page on 25 October 2022 at 8.45 a.m. Finnish time. Reload/refresh the page after 8.45 a.m. if necessary.

Submitting the entrance exam assignments

Open the e-form link at 10.45 a.m. at the latest to make sure that you will be able to send the assignments before the deadline. Please note that sending the assignments during the last minutes can take longer since there are many applicants doing it at the same time. If you have opened the e-form well in advance, please refresh the page before sending the assignments. E-form does not save the answers automatically, so if the session has been open for too long, all the answers may disappear when refreshing the page.

When you have copied your assignments to the answer fields on the form, check that your final answers are in the correct form. Please note that if the answer you enter is too long, the form will automatically cut the excess number of characters. In this case, you will need to edit the answer, before saving the form. When you have checked the answers, send them with Save-button in the end of the page form by 11.00 a.m.

After submitting, the form opens a window telling you that the submission was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email stating that the submission was successful.
