Path studies
Path studies consist of 1st year studies of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, which are completed as an Open UAS student.
Joint Applications on Spring 2026
The Spring’s fist joint application period is 7 January – 21 January 2026 for our degree programmes offered in English. Studies are starting in August 2026.
The Spring’s second joint application period 10 – 23 March 2026 includes more than 60 degree programmes conducted in Finnish. Details will be updated on the website during October.
Working-life oriented education
Turku UAS is one of the biggest universities of applied sciences in Finland with over 12,000 students and almost 100 degree programmes.
Our pedagogical approach links professional know-how with theoretical research. Study methods include lots of project and teamwork, just like working life.
Our aim is to develop highly trained experts ready for working life, as well as to support industry through continuing learning modules.
Different ways to study
We offer bachelor’s and master’s degrees in four different fields. You can apply to our degree programmes by joint application or via Open Studies.
Open UAS and Continuing Studies offer the chance to deepen your expertise or learn something new, through short courses or longer programmes.
We also welcome our partner universities’ students, who can spend a semester or academic year with us as exchange students. Some of our degree programmes also offer the possibility of obtaining a double degree.

Guidance and Studies for Immigrants
Turku UAS seeks to provide an inclusive study environment, including opportunities for students with foreign backgrounds to actively participate in the higher education community.
We provide special services for students with foreign backgrounds to support their progress through higher education studies and, the development of their Finnish language skills to ensure a seamless study experience in the Finnish higher education community.
