What do we research and develop? Lower emission engines, better acoustic solutions and new raw materials among other things. We are developing better everyday practices for nursing homes and new ways of experiencing art and culture. The research and development work we do with our partners is visible all around us. We will find solutions together.

Research and development environments at your disposal
Our campuses reflect more than €10 million of investment in research and development infrastructure in recent years. On joint research and development projects, we make our renovated research environments available to your organisation. Take advantage of our laboratories and expertise for your organisation’s development needs, product development and testing.
Effectiveness comes from networks
We have more than 200 projects running every year, one in four of which is carried out together with an international network.
Our partners include businesses, public sector organisations and other communities. Each year, more than 100 companies are involved in projects to develop their business through RDI work with us.
The Turku Tech Campus , Turku Culture Campus and Turku Health Campus , built in cooperation with other higher education institutions and operators in the region will further strengthen the university.
