This book is a travelogue from the “Datang, Duduk, Diam” Pedagogy into the world of Innovation Pedagogy. Authors from five Indonesian universities tested student-centered active learning practices in real learning settings, while the role of pedagogical experts from five European universities was to mentor and support the work of the Indonesian colleagues. More than 100 lecturers and 4000 students actively participated in these pedagogical pilots as part of the European Commission funded INDOPED project in 2015–2019.
We need forerunners and the authors of this book paved the way for their colleagues in modernizing Indonesian higher education practices to meet the requirements of this century’s competence profile.
